To enable study in Canada for international students, enrol for the upcoming Fall semester, the Canadian government has announced the applications submitted by you, May 15, 2021 will be processed by August 2021.
For Nigerian students applying for their visa using the Nigerian Student Express (NSE) program, we suggest providing all necessary documents as indicated for this stream to avoid additional delays.
Please see below required information for the NSE program:
study in Canada requirements:
· Apply online.
· Be a Nigerian residing outside of Canada.
· Have an acceptance letter from a post-secondary DLI.
Have a MyBank certificate showing sufficient funds for your studies (equivalent of CAD$30,000) for at least 6 months PLUS 12 months of banking history. (Please note that these are minimum financial requirements)
· Get a medical exam before applying.
· Get a police clearance letter.
· Have a language test result that shows:
A score of 6.0 or higher in each skill (reading, writing, speaking, and listening) on the International English Language Testing System (IELTS).
